Smartpick Program "Terms and Conditions"

1.  "Smartpick" is a Platform/Program created and run by Hindustan Unilever Limited (hereinafter referred to as "HUL" or "the Company") directly or through its authorized third-party partners, which invites individuals to register and participate in the Program to receive periodic "Sample Packages" containing a product, multiple products or combination of product(s) manufactured or marketed by HUL under several offers run by the Company from time to time.

2.  The Sample Package are made available to you free of cost, for your personal, non-commercial use only and you shall be solely liable for use of the same beyond the same.

3.  Participation in this Program is free, voluntary and at the sole discretion of the consumer/subscriber/individual (Participant).

4.  The Period of the campaign is between the Months of August 2019 - December 2020.

5.  Smartpick box will be available till stocks last only.

Eligibility of Participants

6.  Unless otherwise specified, the participation and registration are intended solely for individuals aged 18 years or older. By participating, you represent and warrant that you are aged 18 years of age or possess parental/legal guardian consent for the same. Company reserves the right, at its own discretion, to restrict participation, including by cancelling registration under the Program in the event the individuals are found to be younger than 18 years.

7.  The Program is currently open for residents of Karnataka (Bangalore), Kerala (Cochin and Trivandrum), Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Madurai, Trichy), Andhra Pradesh (Vijayawada), Telangana (Hyderabad), Gujarat (Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot) and Delhi. Smartpick Box shall be delivered within these locations in select pin-codes only.

8.  To UNSUBSCRIBE from the Smartpick program, you can send an Email with the subject-line "UNSUBSCRIBE SMARTPICK" from your registered email Id to


General Terms for Sample Package of Product(s)

9.  The Participant is eligible for one Product of HUL in the Sample Package with no right of choice of the Product. The Company can, at its sole discretion, provide multiple samples or Products combination to the Participant in a Sample Package.

  1. The Program is currently open for residents of Karnataka (Bangalore), Kerala (Cochin and Trivandrum), Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Madurai, Trichy), Andhra Pradesh (Vijayawada), Telangana (Hyderabad), Gujarat (Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot) and Delhi. The Smartpick Box shall be delivered to select locations (PIN Codes) within these states only. If your residence is not within the selected locations, you will not be eligible for receiving the Smartpick Box. (For a complete list of covered PIN Codes, Click Here) The Company may reject any duplicate participation/registration and It shall be the sole discretion of the Company to provide multiple Smartpick Boxes to any Participant/Household or location.
  2. The Participant will have to provide the necessary information in the requested form to receive the Smartpick Box. The Participant shall be solely responsible for the correctness of the information and any deficiency arising out of the same shall be the responsibility of the Participant and not HUL or its partners.
  3. The participant has to confirm the order post submitting the form via Get OTP (enter the OTP received on the form) or Get Call (Press 1 on call) option, if the order is not confirmed by the participant then the order will be cancelled and HUL or its partners will not be liable to deliver the order.
  4. HUL and/or its partners shall endeavour to deliver the Smartpick Box within 7 business days of registration and receipt of information. A maximum of three attempts will be made to deliver the Smartpick Box. Within 7 business days at least 2 attempts will be made to connect the sample box. You agree that HUL or its partners shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the sample box.
  5. HUL shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to act of God, governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any other such loss.
  6. It is the responsibility of the Participants to inform HUL of any change in the information provided under the Program during registration.


Privacy Policy

16.           In-order to participate and receive sample products, you will need to provide some personal information and sign up with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) through its Smartpick platform. The information provided by you shall be used to deliver a sample product package under the Smartpick Program. By participating in this Program, you have voluntary consented to share your relevant information, including personal details, namely Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Address, etc.

17.           You understand and accept that by registering, you further agree to receive marketing and promotional communications through email/SMS/Whatsapp or any other medium from Smartpick, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) or HUL brands/programs.

18.           Purpose of Collection: Your information and personal details have been collected by HUL to select the right Product for the sample package and further fulfil the delivery of the same to you. The information is also collected to inform and communicate with you about brands, products, offers, similar programs of HUL in the future. Such communication may be informative or promotional in nature.

19.           HUL and Unilever Group values the privacy and security of the personal of their consumers and such data is collected and used by HUL or on behalf of HUL in accordance with the Unilever Privacy Policy available on

20.           The data given by the participant i.e. Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Address, etc. will be used in strict confidence by HUL & its other partners and these will not be passed to any other third party for outside the above Purpose, without your consent.

21.           By participating in this Program, you are giving consent to receive further messages related to the Purpose, unless expressly opted out.

22.           If for any reason, you would not want to receive or opt out of any future communications for the above Purpose, update your information, or have any queries with respect to your information with us, you may send an email to or call the HUL toll free (lever care) no.1800-10-22-221. You will have to provide your Name, Mobile and Email Address and the programs/brands subscribed to our representatives along with the details of what you wish us to do or inform you about with respect to your information.

23.           By providing the information and registering in this Program, the consumer fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions as well as the decisions of HUL which are final and binding in all matters related to the Program.

  1. The Participants understand and agree, that third party partners involved in the Program are independent service provider who are solely responsible for their actions and omissions, and HUL shall not be liable for the same.
  2. Participant agrees to indemnify and hold HUL and its agents, officers and employees harmless against all losses and damages that may occur due to an act, omission, negligence, or deliberate act of the Participant.
  3. This acceptance of the terms and conditions shall be deemed to have been given at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and the courts in Mumbai alone will have exclusive jurisdiction to entertain any proceedings in any way relating to or concerning these terms and conditions or any rights, duties, obligations or liabilities arising there under to the exclusion of all other courts in India.

Amendment of Terms

27.           HUL has the sole right to withdraw / edit any aspect of the Program at its discretion and/or alter the terms and conditions without prior notice and such withdrawal/amendment and/or alteration of terms and conditions with/without prior notice shall be final and binding from the day of such notification.
